This glass is suitable for a wide range of applications, from large solar greenhouses to small, compact nursery greenhouses, to multi-span greenhouses equipped with smart devices. Traditional greenhouse covering materials have numerous drawbacks: plastic film not only has poor light transmittance but also breaks after a short period of use; ordinary glass, on the other hand, is weak in impact resistance and easily shatters.

Core Features of Tempered Glass for Greenhouses
High Light Transmittance
Made of low-iron clear float glass substrate, it achieves a light transmittance of over 91%, significantly higher than that of regular glass (approximately 89%) and plastic film (70%). It provides sufficient sunlight for plants and ensures the smooth progress of photosynthesis.
Special Coating Protection
Equipped with a special coating technology, it can accurately transmit visible light (400-700 nanometers) essential for plant growth, while effectively blocking harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays at 380 nanometers to prevent crop sunburn. Moreover, its light transmittance performance is very stable, without yellowing or easy attenuation, and the transmittance reduction does not exceed 3%, maintaining a stable lighting environment for crops.
Superior Impact Resistance
After professional tempering treatment, its impact resistance is 3-5 times that of regular glass. It can withstand the impact of hailstones smaller than 3 centimeters in diameter and will not easily break even in force 10 winds, making it suitable for various complex climatic conditions.
High Durability and Cost-Effectiveness
With an average service life of more than 15 years, it is over 5 times longer than that of plastic film. It greatly reduces the frequency of covering material replacement, effectively lowers replacement costs, and is more cost-effective for long-term use.
Safety Protection: Making Greenhouse Operation More Worry-Free
Our tempered glass has been meticulously considered for safety. If broken, it breaks into small, rounded particles, lacking sharp corners. Even if it breaks, it is less likely to injure people or crops. On the other hand, when normal glass breaks, it will form sharp fragments, which may cause the injury.
The edges of the glass have been chamfered, making the glass less sharp and reduce the damage risk during installation. It is firmly fixed to the greenhouse frame, ensuring perfect sealing and stability. The process of coating can reduce the moisture on the glass. Moisture can block light and may cause crop diseases. This process not only ensures the transmission of light but also minimizes the risk of crop diseases.
