1. What is Anti-Reflective (AR) Coating?

Anti-Reflective (AR) coating is a porous nano-silica ($SiO_2$) layer applied onto low-iron glass. Through destructive light interference, it minimizes surface reflection, allowing 2.5% to 5.0% more sunlight to pass through compared to untreated glass.

The Impact: Standard low-iron glass provides ~91.5% light transmittance. Adding AR coating raises total light transmission to 94.0% - 97.5%, directly translating into higher energy production and accelerated crop growth.
